Theme & Concept
This Committee will research and recommend thematic concepts for each of the murals to the Board of Directors. Once approved, this Committee will solicit proposals from qualified artists that will include a sketch of the proposed mural that conforms to the selected theme. A contract will be negotiated by this Committee with the Board approved artist.
This Committee is responsible for preparing all fundraising activities, including solicitations from individuals, local businesses and organizations, planning events and mural unveiling.
This Committee identifies potential public and private building locations suitable for painting large scale murals. This Committee presents a list of recommended sites to the Board of Directors. At the direction of the Board, the Committee will contact the property owner and present contractual agreements that will preserve the murals for a minimum of a ten (10) year period.
